"What did they do to you, Nikki?" Leon asked with a deep frown.

Isabella shuffled a little closer so she could take one of Nikolai's hands, squeezing it gently in comfort.

"I'm enjoying the company more,"

Klaus just looked to Lucas for the answer then.

"Kept me on vervain, starved me." Nikolai whispered as he curled into his mother even further. "I don't really want to talk about it."

Kol rolled his eyes playfully.

---

"Fine mum, just fine." Lucas shrugged.

"Mice wants to move out." Klaus told Tatia, almost silently, "She asked Lucas if she could move in with him."

Falin just smiled brightly at him.

---

Leon sighed softly and stayed quiet then.

Tatia sighed deeply and nodded. "If it's what she wants... I trust Lucas to look after her and watch her - not just let her run around rampantly doing what she wants. You'll have to give her boundaries, make sure she still goes to school and does her work and everything. Make her understand that it wont be like the vacation she see's it as when she stays with you every now and then."

"I will do mum, I will."

"You're cheesy." Kol laughed.

"Can we go home now?"

"Of course we can darling, of course we can."

"Bye..." Isabella whispered.

Klaus just shook his head a little bit at that, just getting out of the car and walking off without a word.

"I'm not," She replied with a laugh, shaking her head.

Tatia got out and followed him. "If we force Mica to stay with us she'll resent us and she'll be miserable Nik, what option do we have?"

"You should go see your mother, she misses you." Vanessa mumbled.

---

"Yes you are." Kol laughed as he sipped at his drink.

"She tell you that?" Isabella asked, just shrugging a bit. "I don't want to see her, not yet. I still have places to go, haven't found myself yet." she mumbled.

Klaus just walked in silence.

Falin shook her head in denial as she played with the last bit of her food.

"She misses you. Go home for a few months and see her." Vanessa said before standing up and helping Nikolai lean against her.

"Nik..."

"You don't have to eat it all if you're full."

"What?" He asked quietly. "Go back and let our daughter just leave without talking to me about it first, go on, pack her bags and everything. I couldn't possibly have a say in it, could I, love?"

"I know," Falin chuckled quietly, "I know."

Leon got to his feet and grabbed Nikolai's arm, gently wrapping it around his shoulders so his weight was more balanced. "Thank you for finding him, Isabella."

"Yeah.." She whispered.

"Well I already know what you're going to say Nik! But fine, go compel her to stay, it's how you deal with things now isn't it?"

Vanessa walked out with Nikolai.

Kol chuckled

Klaus just glared at her over his shoulder, a wounded expression.

Leon walked alongside them.

Falin smiled at his chuckle.

"Happy?" Vanessa muttered. "I thanked her."

"Don't give me that look after what you've done." Tatia snapped.

---

"So... am I gonna have to carry you home tonight?" Kol chuckled.

"Ah, we'll see, hm?"

"You just told Lucas my child could move out without talking to me about it first! What's been going on recently is nothing to do with this. I told you so we could discus it, not so you could go ahead and okay it without us even talking about it! You'd hate it if I done that!"

"Well done," Leon whispered.

"Oh, so now she's your child?!"

Kol just nodded with a laugh.

Vanessa just rolled her eyes.

"Well you're acting as if she was only yours, not talking to me and just telling Lucas she could go!" Klaus hissed.

"You have such a stupid sounding laugh," Falin mused with a grin, trying not to laugh herself.

Leon just glanced to the side to see how Nikolai was doing.

Kol stopped sharply then, looking down at his food and taking a sip of his drink.

"I never said she could go!I just told Lucas the things he'd have to do if she did go to him!"

Nikolai was struggling to walk with his parents.

Falin frowned then, reaching over with her leg beneath the table to tangle it with his, "Hey, I was teasing. I didn't mean it like that, I just meant it's funny that's all. Makes me smile."

"You said 'If it's what she wants' which is the same thing as saying as she could!" Klaus hissed. "That was not your decision to make! That was both of ours, not just yours!"

"Come on, you're doing great." Leon encouraged gently.

((I have an electric blanket on my bed and it's heat is making me feel sleepy haha))

"No more." Nikolai mumbled tiredly.

Kol didn't reply, looking down at the table.

"It was both of our decisions to make regarding compelling Kira but you still went ahead and compelled her anyway!"

"If you're pulling that card on me then it wasn't your decision at all with Mica because she's my daughter!" Klaus hissed.

"Ness, head back to the girl and ask her if she has a hotel room booked that Nikki can rest at?" Leon asked quietly.

---

"Oh come on," Falin laughed gently, getting to her feet and wandering over behind him. Wrapping her arms around him from behind, almost in a hug, "I was joking, you idiot, I didn't mean to offend you. Come on, I'm sorry. I love your laugh..."

"We have our own room." Vanessa pointed out.

Tatia flinched at that, turning round and walking away from him without another word.

---

"Get off." Kol muttered.

"The girl might have one closer, I don't think Nikki'll make it to ours." Leon whispered.

---

Klaus just shook his head before turning and continuing on his own way.

---

Falin let out a deep sigh and just took a step back away from him.

Tatia just headed home and curled up on the couch, biting her fist as she tried to not cry.

"He'll be fine, we just need to get him to the Taxi."

Kol put some money down on the table to pay for the food before getting up and leaving.

"Kol I didn't mean it like..... that." Falin sighed, shaking her head and sitting herself down without a word. Putting her head into hers hands.

Klaus pulled his phone from his pocket and text Kol: Apparently it's fine for Tatia to allow my daughter to move out without talking to me about it first because of what I done, even though my daughter isn't hers. I need a drink. Join me?

Leon just sighed softly.

No. I'd rather be alone. You go sort your problems out before you end up like me. Kol text back as he walked home.

Vanessa sighed in relief when she spotted the taxi a few metres away.

Why should I go and speak to her when every thing she done which is bad is suddenly acceptable because of childish revenge. No. She needs to apologise to me for that. What's your problem?
