Sapphire sat down too, stretching her legs over his lap as she turned the TV on.

"Nah, I'm just one of the many many IT monkeys in that place."

"You're in need of a new job, you sound really unhappy in it. If you could change your job, or.. career path.. to anything what would it be?"

Anthony resting one of his arms against her legs, using his free hand to trace the lines on the underside of her feet.

"I don't know... I've been doing this for so long."

Anthony sighed, putting his wine down on the side and leaning back into the sofa. Eyes closing to just listens to the tv.

"Mm," Sapphire whispered, "I think we should both look for new jobs, or see if we can swap jobs for the day. I'm sick of mine, you're sick of yours. I'd like to sit down for a bit, you want to move about. It could be interesting."

"That's obviously going to have to change tonight,"

"Had a pint of lager and half a glass of wine, I can't drive and even if I could; I'm tired and your sofa seems more appealing that usual at the moment, the bed even better but I don't want to overly intrude."

"I went through a disciplinary, almost got into rent aviaries because they held my wages back." Ruby whispered, "But CCTV saved the day, and they saw how roughly they grabbed me so I just had a nasty telling off instead. I don't regret it though, they shouldn't of touched me.... You ever lose your cool for something someone did; couldn't do."

"Why I should be on the sofa, I can slip out easier."

Sapphire just glanced away from him at that, shaking her head and swallowing thickly. "Stay tonight but... this has to stop."

"No... not that I can think of. I'm pretty boring."

"How you've managed to stay in a job you dislike for so long, how we're in similar financial situations... How we both finished our coffees seven minutes ago but we're still sat here talking." She whispered, "I don't think I'm particularly exciting either,"

"I knew this would happen..."
