Part of Me and Part of You, Together we make Two

Remy remained beside her anyhow just in case.

She used him for support about half way to the door at the school.

He held one of her arms and kept a light hand on her lower back to help her.

She smiled softly at him in thanks.

He honestly didn't mind helping her.

He smiled back.

He helped her to her sister.

They found Jeanna waiting for her and she was talking to the teacher who had belittled her sister. "And you think it's acceptable?" Jeanna asked him, she kept her calm at the moment.

"Your sister is stupid and docile, she will never pass her exams." He sneered, his own deamon, a large gorilla, nodded in agreement.

"You know she will." Jeanna told him. "And how dare you put her down in front of her peers, my sister is the smartest girl here and one of the bravest." Jeanna told him, Kai was sitting at her feet hissing at the gorilla. "You couldn't do what she can, no one can."

"Being a cripple isn't exactly hard." The man sneered, and they heard the sniffle from Kayla as she heard everything and it only upset her more.

Remy clenched his fists hearing this back and forth arguing. "Don't listen to him, Kayla, you know you're smart. You even helped me." He wrapped an arm around her shoulders.

She snuggled into him.

"You're just a shit teacher, I had you teaching me and you sucked." Jeanna argued before she looked to the headmaster who had watched all of this. "My sister is taking leave for the rest of the week and we will look for another school which shows her respect."

He held her closer when she did that frowning a bit at hearing her sister say she would be switching school.

"Come on Kayla, let's get home." Jeanna told her sister, looking over at Kayla as she made her way over to Jeanna after giving him a hug in thanks.

Remy nodded passing her over to her sister. "I'll talk to you later?"

"Yeah...you might want to come over and drop the rest of my homework off if that's okay?" Kayla asked him.

He nodded. "I'll be after school then."

She smiled. "Thanks... I'll see you later "

He nodded once more. "Yup, I'll be there."

She amex and soon left with her sister.

Remy remained at school for the rest of the day.

When school was over, she was sitting on her bed at home, Pip curled up next to her as a snow leopard cub, and she was waiting for him to turn up with her homework.

As promised he did show up after school, his companion right at his side. Remy knocked on the door.

Jeanna answered the door and she smiled softly at seeing him. "She's upstairs."

He smiled. "Thanks. Is she...okay?"

She nodded. "She is."

"Good, good," he smiled. "I brought her her homework and things like she asked for."
