Marlowe kissed down his neck as he carried her, taking his tie off and dropping it onto the floor so she could move to his collarbone.

"Why are you so stressed!" Sienna retorted after her mother had snapped at her, slamming the cutlery draw closed after pulling some knives and forks out. "I am doing what you asked me to aren't?!"
"If I still have a million and one things to do when your grandfather arrives for dinner I won't be happy, that's why!"
"He isn't going to be our grandfather, Thomas is dead."
"You get two of them Sienna."

"So, like three meetings with Karsi and I am still no clearer on what exactly she wants or needs from us." Ronan sighed as he poured himself another drink. "Maybe you coming tonight will make it easier for her to vocalise. There are only so many more awkward meetings I can get through."

Don’t give up on her.” Bella pulled him so he was laying his head against her, brushing her fingers through his hair. “You’re doing so well too, going when she’s asked you to, not pushing and being patient. It’s not like you and I know it takes a lot of effort for you to be patient.”

“She wasn’t supposed to pick that option.” Maddox grimaced as he sat down. “Left myself open for that didn’t I?”
“Guess who got out of her last meeting of the week early?!” Odette - a small willowy girl with brown eyes and short black hair - called through as she let herself into Dorians home using the spare key she’d been given previously. Kicking her heels off at the door and letting out an exaggerated sigh of relief as she dropped to the floor, hanging her jacket up and taking the pins out of her hair that was holding the tidied bun in, ruffling her fingers through to loosen it.
