You're not a mess, Tobias, you're just not doing great right now which is okay. You're allowed to not be great, you were in a shop collapse where some people died - we nearly lost you. I'm not okay after nearly losing you, I don't expect you to be either. That in itself would be enough for you to be struggling right now, but you put all its brought up from the war on top of it and damn, I think your holding it together really well. You are the strongest person I know, especially in this moment because only strong people are able to admit when they aren't okay. I'm so proud of you, I love you so much. Dale raised an eyebrow, "Mm, celebritiy starts privilege is shining through right now. Only having my father's old suit as formal wear isn't playing dress up, it's called being economical."

Tesni swallowed thickly, taking her phone from her pocket and quietly flicking through her contacts before texting Danny: Hi. Me again, I'm sorry I'm at you constantly at the moment. Tobias was saying how he needed putting down mid-breakdown. Please tell me that he didn't mean what I think he did.

"Two nieces, twins - those are Ava's girls and one nephew - he is Maya's."

Tesni made a quiet noise in frustration, turning her phone off and turning her attention back onto Tobias. Squeezing his shoulder to try and stir him, "Tobi... wake up for a minute. A bed will be a bit more comfortable, hm? Let's get you to bed."

“At my grandfathers place in France he has a giant garden, there’s this pond tucked away near all the trees - my favourite thing to do in summer would be to take a blanket down by there and just fall asleep under the sun listening to the water for a few hours. It was lovely.”
