"Wh- what's going on?"

"We are going to find my sister and try and not to get shot." He told her.

"We should be hiding..."

"Trust me, we can get away." He told her.

"We should be hiding!"

"And we will, in the forest, there's nothing to hide behind out here." He pointed out.

"There is because you found me hiding, I know my stuff too." Leena frowned. "I'm not going into a forest."

"You ca risk going back but if they find you what do you think they're going to do with you?"

"Same thing you're going to do with me. I- I don't trust this." Leena mumbled, sitting herself down.

He was about to rgue with her when there was the sounds of shooting. "Hey at least I'm ot going to shoot you." He told her, and he looked back towards the barn to see his sister walking towards them, her shot gun still smoking from the shots fired.

"Didn't you two think to use the trees as cover?" Aleah asked them.

"He's too busy being a know it all." Leena answered with an eyeroll, resting her chin on top of her knees.

"He's trained in survival." Aleah told her. "Kind of comes with the training, try not to take it personal." She suggested gently as she moved to sit next to her. "But that being said, we need something to keep you safe, and we also need to get moving this place isn't safe anymore."

"Niether of you know nothing about me. Go about your business, I refuse to be patronised by anyone."

"Then we apologise, but survival is what we do, so usually if we say something it is for a goo reasom." She told her. "It might be a good idea for the three of us to stick together, another pair of eyes is useful to survive, and since we are all heading in the same direction, we need to et moving." She told them. "I saw a town not far away, might be a ood place for us to go and get some supplies, maybe some information for you." She looked to Leena.

"Survival is what everyone does, your not the only one living in this world. Leave me alone."

"Alright, but here, at least keep this on you, help keep yourself safe." She put a small hand gun next to her as she got up. "We will be headin that way." She nodded in the direction. "Feel free to find us if you want some company." She told her.

"Yeah... yeah whatever. Thanks."

Aleah nodded and she headed back to the barn to grab her backpack since her brother had gotten his own. When she was gone, Jonothan looked towards her. "What's your plan?" He asked her.

Leena just shrugged, "We're all survivors, we've all grown up in this world. I'd rather be by myself then with people who act like they are better than me. I'm not a doll to be bossed around."

"Forgive me for tryig to keep you safe." He told her. "My sister is ex-army." He shrugged. "We get a bit overbearig and protective at times, we don't do it to offend."

"I can keep myself safe, what part of that sentence do you not fucking understand. Go away. Leave me alone."

"The fact that since I've met you, you've been very timid." He told her.

"Timid and being able to survive are different things. Stupid. You don't know me, stop pretending you do."

"Hey if you think that you can talk like you know me stupid then I can do the same." He shrugged.

"Jonothan, come on, she doesn't want out help and we have more travelling to do so lets go." Aleah told them as she walked over, fastening her backpack straps.
