She smiled softly as she started to eat. “What’s your plan for today?”

"No plans,"

She nodded. “Would you like to spend some time together?”

"If that is what you want."

She nodded

(( Want to skip until the kids are proper adults. I have a whole plan that Zion's second life has worked, that he has a little human family and stuff ))

((Aww that would be cute, also kind of gives me previous Damion vibes when he didn’t know he was a demon prince etc but obviously Zion would know….yeah sure what do you want to do about rose and the angel?))

(( Exactly, it'll be like a full circle moment. If your okay with playing his family? I was thinking quite established, engaged with a little one of the age if we give it another ten years? We can say they have been talking but it has been purely political with Zion going missing? ))

Ten years later, Zion sat with his legs curled beneath him in front of an open fire. Unrecognisable, thanks to a glamour from a charmed chain hat hung around his neck. His jet black hair now a dirty brown, and his once abyss eyes now a deep sapphire. His stature too, was different, though whether this was due to the glamour or hours in the gym it was hard to tell - his shoulders broader, more full. Standing several inches taller then his father had, closer to his grandfather height. The letter in his hands, mundane bills, addressed to a Aeron Walters, his pseudonym.

As he sat there the front door suddenly opened, and a young woman came in, her hair over her shoulder in an intricate braid her eyes a deep almost emerald green. She was carrying shopping bags with food in with her as a young boy of ten years of age walked behind her carrying mg the last one. “Baelfire put the food on the table please.” She told him and she ruffled the boys hair when he did as she asked before her own bags joined his. 

The boy was the younger version of Zion when he wasn’t wearing his chain, his name was an archaic version in honour of his aunt. “Daddy?” He called as he went to leave the kitchen. “Daddy come and see the treats we have.”

"Treats? Oh." He grinned, placing the letter on the coffee table as he got to his feet and headed into the kitchen. "Were you a bad influence on your mother's healthy eating again, Bael?"

“Mummy doesn’t need to lose weight though daddy, she’s pretty.” He told him as he grabbed a bag and ran to meet his father halfway, showing him what was in the bag.

The woman watched them from the kitchen where she was putting things away and she smiled softly as she watched them.

Meanwhile in her room Rose was going about her day she was watching for signs of her brother in the mirror, she knew where he was just as her father and mother did but not who he was. She had tried to find him so many times but after speaking to Belle she knew why he did what he did. She had been speaking to the angels and was getting to know her husband to be, with whom she had put off marrying until she found her brother

"You and I can tell her as much as we like but she never believes herself does she," Aeron hummed, crouching down to look in the back properly. Gasping as he pulled out a nacho cheese dip, "No way, little man. That's a good choice, does that mean we're getting a Mexican night soon?"

"He could be anywhere, Rose." Alessia whispered from the doorway. "Glamours don't last once someone has died though, so, we know he is alive at the least."

“Maybe.” He told him with a giggle.

The woman watched them and she nodded to the letter. “Was it anything important?”

“I know.” She sighed. “I miss him,” she told her. “Anyway I hear you and dad are going to see Aunt Belle and Uncle Elliott, send them my love?” She asked. “And tell them I want some cousins.”

"The bank, interest rates on the house has increased so we have to pay a bit more monthly. It isn't anything that we can't handle." He assured gently, ruffling his sons hair. "We'll have to make the nachos together, mm? What do you want on top of them?"

"I feel the more Elliott is nagged, the less he is willing to do things. Children are a choice they need to make themselves, Rose."

“I know I’m just messing around.” She told her. “Well how about tell her to visit more and Elliott.”

She nodded as she started to play with a necklace she wore, it was a name necklace with her name Sabrina on it in cursive, it had been a gift from Zion. “Darling, can we talk later?” She asked

"We can talk now, whilst Bael goes up to his room and starts on his homework. I want more than one spelling right on your test tomorrow, okay?"

Baelfire nodded to his dad before he ran off upstairs. When she was gone, Sabrina stayed where she was and she looked to him. “Whilst we were out today he saw two kids playing and he asked me about having a sibling.” She told him. “I explained that it’s a big ask after all I know that having Bael wasn’t the easiest for me.”

"You nearly died," He frowned, pushing himself to stand up straight. "No, I - I mean we could look into fostering, adopting but your life is more important."

“Things might be different this time.” She pointed out. “But I see your point, I am not opposed to fostering, you know that.” She told him having to tilt her head to look at him as he was considerably a lot taller than her.

"It isn't worth the risk, so.. we'll foster. Plenty of children need families, we can change their life."

She nodded. “Okay, I’ll tell Bael after dinner.” She looked to him and she walked to him sliding her arms around him. “Now, I will accept one kiss before I get started on dinner.” She told him playfully
