"Where are your parents?" Alessia repeated the question quietly.

“You’re allowed to be dramatic when you’re pregnant.” She told him.

“Somewhere that way I think.” He pointed int eh direction that he had walked

“Should we split up?”

"Okay... well, take a few sips of water and a few deep breathes and then we will find them. Okay?"

"When your - your pregnant?"

Zion nodded, kissing her cheek. "Text me if you fond him."

She nodded, pulling a pregnancy test out of her bedside drawer, showing him that it was positive. “Like I said I was going to wait until we were further along than last time…but I didn’t want you upset or hurt that I didn’t tell you sooner.”

She kissed his cheek in return and she nodded looking back to Jackson. “Jackson do you want to come with me or stay  here?” She asked him.

Baelfire nodded. “Okay…” he done as she said

"Okay..." Alessia repeated quietly.

"So you start an argument with me and then just throw it in my face? You don't tell me your let and then take it so we can go through it toge- fuck you Belle. Fuck you." Elliott growled; storming out then.

"I don't know."

“I didn’t want to get your hopes up if I was wrong.” She told him. “We’ve lost so many already…I didn’t want to hurt you again.” She didn’t know if he heard she had to tell him. When she was sure he had gone, she text Arden, asking if he was free she needed someone.

“I have a new brother now…I don’t think they noticed.”

"I an sure that isn't the case; people have lots of room for love in their hearts." Alessia whispered

Baelfire shrugged. 

“What’s your name anyway?”

“Baelfire.”

"Hi Baelfire. My names Alessia..."

Baelfire smiled. “Hi Alessia,” he looked to Damian.

“My name is Damian.” 

“Hi Damian.”

"How old are you, Baelfire?"

“I’m ten but I’ll be eleven in august.”

"Oh wow. Nearly a grown up."

He nodded. “I get to go to the big school and I might even get to play baseball.”

"Oh, oh how exciting." She whispered, pulling him into a gentle hug as she motioned for Damian to go looking for the child's parents. "Do you like basketball?"

Damian nodded and he got up walking up the beach that way that Baelfire had come from.

He nodded. “But I prefer baseball.”

"Yeah? How come?"

“I like to play bat and ball with my dad.”

Damian soon came across Zion. “I’m guessing you’re looking for a little boy, ten years old?”

"I - your here? Why are you..." Zion raked his fingers through his hair, trying to calm himself down from his panic. "Yeah, I - Bael has wandered off. He - have you seen him?"

"Oh yeah? That's fun." She grinned. "Do you do that a lot with him?"

“Me and your mother are on holiday believe it or not.” He assured him. “But yes he found his way down to the secluded side of the beach, don’t worry he’s unharmed he was picking up seashells.” He told him. “Come with me and I’ll lead you to him.”

He nodded. “I don’t do it as much now…last time I threw the ball it went through the fence.” He told her. “I didn’t mean to but mummy paid the neighbour for the fence before daddy got home.”

"Mistakes happen, accidents happen." Alessia hummed. "That sounds like a funny story, I bet if you told your father he would laugh about it."

"Lead the way," Zion whispered, relief palatable

“I think dad knows…He didnt seem very happy.” He told her. “ it I’ve picked him shells to make up for it.” He emptied the pockets of his swim shorts and loads of shells of different sizes fell out. “And look at what I can do.” He picked up a shell and closed his eyes before opening them again and the shell in his hand changed colour. “But you can’t tell anyone not even daddy knows.”

He led him down the beach to the secluded area that he and Alessia had found and he nodded to where Baelfire was sat with Alessia and he didn’t look surprised when Baelfire changed the colour of the shell by himself

"Oh my goodness, your a magician." Alessia praised gently, holding her palm out so she could take a closer look at the shell. "How long have you been able to do this for?"

Zion paused at his father's side, watching Baelfire in silence.

“Take it as you didn’t know that, huh?” Damian asked him quietly as they watched.

Baelfire put the shell into her hand. “Two months.”

"How did you first find out you could do this?"

"I - I expected it soon but..." Zion swallowed. "I thought he would tell me."
