Michael silently took the jacket off, hung it over the stairs banister and then quickly walked upstairs towards the bedroom.

Genevieve paused outside of the door for a moment, head tilted to the side as she listened to something.

Michael eventually pulled out some clothes that were his and tugged them on, silently smoothing out the wrinkles.

Genevieve kissed the inside of his wrist a couple of times before sinking her teeth in.

"Apologies for not telling you earlier, but I lost Michael about four days ago. I'm finding it harder to distinguish between what's right and wrong, also, so I may turn feral. I find it hard to shift human, as well. When I went after that deer I lost myself for a moment." His hands twitched. "Without Michael I'm becoming the dominant persona and I'm a wolf. That doesn't bode well."

Michael stiffened, hands fisting on his lap. "I thought he would come back in his own time. It tends to be because of the time of year. Normally it isn't longer than two days. I thought he would come back." He looked as he was expecting to get hit for keeping quiet.
