"Deal." He chuckled.

A few months later...


"Hey, morning." Dasha greeted as she sat opposite Cole on his bed, having come up once she'd arrived. "What're we doing today then?"

Cole jerked backwards violently as he woke at her presence, cursing as he bashed his head against the wall behind him. Mumbling something incoherent in response and yawning.

"Sorry! Sorry... Didn't mean to startle you."

"No, no…. It's fine." Cole grumbled, "I should be used to you being there by now, you've been doing it for a whole. It's my fault, don't feel bad."

"I'll call to make sure you're awake next time." Dasha whispered

"It's fine…. What time is it?" He mumbled, burying his face in his pillow to hide a yawn.

"Just before midday..."

"Oh…. Don't normally sleep this late."

"Cole... I have news... And I don't know how you're going to take it..."

Cole just huffed gently, stretching before sitting himself up and rubbing at his eyes, "What is it?"

"I've been offered a decent paid job.... But it's not here. It's in America, Virginia."

Cole's shoulders tensed momentarily, before relaxing and glancing to her, offering her a weak smile as he replied cheerfully, "That's amazing…. Are you going to take it? What is it for?"

(( Night night ))

"I don't know if I want to move or not... It's for hair styling."

"Ah, well, it depends on how much you want the job. I mean, what's stopping you?"

"you..."

Cole just raised an eyebrow and shook his head a little bit in the negative, "Don't. I'm no one, if it's what you want to do then go for…. I'll only ever be a phone call away."

(( If I'm slow it's because I've finally gotten into Sinner and I get hooked on The Wolves Of Mercy Falls serious so easily. ))

"I don't wanna leave you, you're my only friend..."

((Haha okay))

"Wouldn't be leaving me." Cole shrugged before repeating, "I'd be no more than a phone call away."

"A phone call isn't the same..."

"A plane journey away then, still nothing really. It's a small world, in reality."

"Cole I... I mean - " Dasha just sighed when she couldn't get the words out, leaning over to kiss his cheek. "I don't want to leave you."

Cole instinctively tensed much more than he had wanted to at the kiss, mentally cursing himself for doing so in case it offended her. His fingers curling around the covers on his bed so tightly his knuckles turnt white with the effort of not trying not to begin to tremble. Focusing so much on trying to relax himself that he didn't reply.

"Oh god... I didn't mean to - I'm sorry Cole. I'm sorry." Dasha whispered as she got up and quickly walked out.
