Klaus just muttered something incoherent before grabbing his phone and leaving the room.

Tatia just hissed in frustration.

Kol was downstairs, flicking channels on the tv.

"It went straight voice mail," Klaus muttered as he entered the room about four minutes later, putting his phone down and hissing at her, "We are booking a flight to Australia, Tatia, now. This has gone on far too long and I refuse to either one of you dying thinking the other hates them."

Cole wandered down the stairs, sitting down beside his grandfather and curling into his side with a deep sigh.

"What's up kiddo?" Kol frowned.

"Nobody's dying. Give up being dramatic."

"People drop unexpectedly like flies in this family. I'm not being dramatic, I'm being realistic. I'm sick and tired of this and we are sorting it out."

"Dasha's got a job in America... and likes me more than a friend, both of which are awful and make my emotions clash."

"Ah, but you don't believe in any of that. So you don't know how to tell her?"

"Why should we have to go all the way over there?"

"Because we're her parents and if she felt unwelcome before you sent her that text then she definitely will now so I doubt she'd ever come to us. Act like an adult, Tatia."

"I don't want to hurt her... I don't want her to leave either. I- She kissed my cheek and I hated that I couldn't relax enough to enjoy it and I don't know why I wanted to kiss her back." He mumbled.

"You wanted to kiss her back because you have feelings for her buddy. You like her like she likes you."

"I am. You can go over there but I'm not."

"No," Cole denied with a shake of his head, "Affection further than friendship doesn't exist."

"Yes you are, Tatia." Klaus hissed, "You're the parent out of the two of you, act like it."

"You're full of insults today aren't you?! You're criticising my handling of Sarai and claim you miss Vanessa. You haven't heard anything from her in ages and I know that because she's rung me crying about it! Kira too!"

"You don't want to kiss your friends."

"Well why haven't you told me about that, hm? Communication goes a long way." Klaus hissed, "Stop deflecting this onto me. All you need to do is sort this out with Sarai. That is it. I'm not telling you anything that isn't true."

"Mm," Cole grumbled, curling in on himself more. "Don't know what to do... I'm confused."

"I have told you! You just don't listen to me! I'm not deflecting it onto you! Just pointing out you're not a perfect parent either!"

"Go find her and kiss her."

"Perhaps in passing but you haven't told me they've been crying." He hissed. "I'm not calling myself a perfect parent! I'm just saying that you need to sort this out with Sarai sooner rather than later."

"I can't." He mumbled with a shake of his head. "I really, really can't... I don't like it."

"You don't like how it feels to like her?"

"Sarai will come to me when she wants to sort it

"If she doesn't feel welcome she won't Tatia."

Cole shook his head in the negative.

"Embrace it kiddo... Embrace it. She could make you so very happy."

"She sent the text. She knows where we are.

Klaus just shook his head in the negative, "You're going to make us all lose her for good." he muttered before leaving the room.

He just let out a deep sigh and got to his feet, wandering out of the house ad towards the hotel that Dasha was staying in.

"How dare you blame this on me!"

Dasha was in her room, having packed some things but looking uneasy about it.

Klaus didn't reply then.

"Darien..." Cole mumbled quietly from the doorway which he loitered.

"Dasha." Dasha corrected quietly. "I do t like my name it's why I use a different one."

"You go. I'm staying here. Not like we can leave Mica anyway."

"Names are irrelevant. Can I just call you pretty?"

"We'll bring Mica," He muttered as he entered the room with the laptop to book plane tickets. "When I say we're sorting this out, I mean it. You sort your issues out with Sarai and Mica sorts her issues out with her too."

"What if I don't want to?"
