"I'm sorry, I honestly am. I never even gave you a chance to tell me what really happened."

He shrugged. "It's alright."

Brooke nodded turning to look out the window.

He continued driving and as the sun set, he pulled out outside of a lake house.

"Have you always lived this far away?"

"No, but parents were nice enough to let me have one thing, so I chose the lake house." He shrugged. "It's nothing fancy, but it's big enough."

"It looks nice to me."

He smiled slightly. "You should see it in the Summer, I'll have to take you out on the lake."

She nodded. "That sounds nice. She loves water too... all smiles at bath time."

(I keep forgetting the baby's name! Lol)

He smiled.

(Kid needs a name that won't be forgotten! Lol I know her middle name was Deanna)

"Lets get her inside?"

He nodded, getting out and walking round to the baby' side of the car.

(That might make it easier lol)

Brooke went with him so that she could carry the baby's bag.

Dean gently picked the baby up in his arms, hushing her if needed and he carried her inside.

She grabbed the baby's bag following him inside.

He showed them around the house, and soon came to a baby room.

She froze in the doorway. "You-... why do you have a baby room?... when did you do this?"

"When you first told me that I could see her, I wanted to be prepared. And it was originally done for my brother and his daughter, but they moved away."

She nodded slowly looking around. "Its a lovely room."

He nodded. "Yeah I guess it is, don't worry everything in here is fresh."

She nodded again. "Do you... want some sort of visitation?"

"I'd like that, but look it's late let's just get some sleep and talk about this in the morning."

Brooke nodded. "I'll put her down to bed first..."

He nodded, handing the baby to her. "Can I watch so I know what to do?"

She nodded. "Uh... sure. Yeah." She got Deanna from the car seat and changed her diaper and her pjs.
