Eris looked to him. “You know there was a dare that I wanted to do but only Hayden was going to say it.” She told him.

"I don't know what to tell you then, mm? You don't really wany advice."

"What dare?"

“Well it’s stupid but I would have liked the same dare that you got.” She told him. “I figured it might be ideal to return a kiss for a kiss you didn’t give me much chance to respond when you kissed me.”

“To be honest Elliot I don’t really know what I want anymore.” He sat on a fallen tree. “How am ItHe one to settle down first anyway, I always thought that would be you.”

"I dislike things like that, public displays. They are all just for show, there is nothing meaningful in them."

Elliot lowered himself down to sitting beside him, "Mm, I don't know. Its just life, isn't it? You happy though?"

“We aren’t in public now.” She reminded him and she zipped up her hoodie that she had brought with her.

He nodded. “For once…Yeah I am, I think she’s the one Elliot.”

"You keep trying to force things, you never just let things be." Caspian sighed.

“Believe me I know not to just kiss you randomly.” She told him. “I was just making a point that we aren’t in public now.” She told him and she picked up a stick from the ground looking it over for some reason before she looked around. “Is it just me or is the forest really quiet for a night time?”

"We shouldn't be here. It's dangerous and... quiet forests are always a sign to leave."

“She’s had a pretty trying day, I don’t think me getting down on one knee with an engagement ring will be a good idea.” He told him as he pulled the ring box from his pocket, he had kept hold of it for days but he couldn’t find the right time

"Of course not, it's something you have to plan. Make an event of."

Caspian motioned for her to lead the way.

She lead him back the way they came, only stopping when she saw something on one of the trees up ahead. A ruine had been carved into one of the trees and it was a ruine for trouble

“We’ll I did plan on asking for her dads permission but today did not go very well.”

"Those are old concepts. You aren't marrying her father. Do something to impress her, not her family."

She nodded and she headed back before she heard something behind them and she glanced behind and she found the man stood between the trees

"She isn't, though, is she? She wouldn't be so firey, so full of it otherwise. If you can't ask her father then you have no choice, other than not ever marrying the woman."

Layla stood just behind him (Did you ever name him I can't remember). Her arms folded as she leant her wait against a tree..

"Don't look." Caspian mumbled, resting his hand in the small of her back to push her forward. "Keep going."

IShe didn’t need to be told twice and she grabbed his hand pulling him along as she ran

He smiled slightly. “True.”

"Like rabbits running from a fox." Layla almost purred in anticipation. "This will be fun to watch."

"The proposal is for her, the wedding is a combination of you both but.. the proposal is all about her."

“Which one would you like?” He told her as he kissed and nibbled her neck

"So just think about what she likes and.. make it a surprise."

He nodded. “I plan to.”

He smiled slightly. “Sure you don’t want one for a snack?” He asked before he looked to the trees and used some vines to snag onto Caspian, dragging him to the floor

This made her smile even more, a small blush rising to her cheeks.

He smiled back

"You'll be fine." Elliot assured quietly.

Caspian made a 'omph' noise as he hit the floor, swallowing thickly to bite back the pain as his weight fell into onto his lower arm - breaking it.

"I'll stick to my pizza, thanks." Layla grimaced.

"Shame," He smiled. "Just sit back and enjoy the show." He looked to Eris who stopped when she heard Caspian fall. She could have kept running, but she looked back to Caspian. "I love torturing souls."

"Caspian!" She ran to him trying to remove the vines from him.
