"Yes, yes." Alessia whispered, leaning up to kiss his cheek gently. "Only on the condition you don't die on me ever again. I don't think I could take it again."

Caspian swallowed, nodding.

She smiled softly. “You look like you could do with some rest.” She told him, brushing some hair from his face

“That sounds fair.” He told her as he kissed her lips before he pulled a ring out of his jacket pocket.

"I have no doubt that I look absolutely terrible, don't worry about being kind about it."

Alessia quietly offered her hand to him, though didn't seem particularly focused on the ring. Instead, quietly fussing - tracing the line of his jaw to confirm he was real and there.

Seren had quietly slipped out, entering Thorin's room a minute later. Her foot being used to open the door as in her arms was a tray with soup, bread and a herbal drink. "Thorin?"

Thorin was just sat up reading. “Yes love?” He moved to stand to greet her

“Nah you don’t deserve that today maybe tomorrow.” She told him with a playful smile. “Go and rest.”

He slid the ring on her fingers and he looked to her gently moving a hand to her hair

"Sit back down, you still aren't well." She instructed quietly. "I've brought you something to eat, things that'll be soft on your stomach."

"I - I really am so sorry." Alessia whispered. "I can't believe - I can't believe I did this to you."

"Are you going to come up with me?"

“My darling whilst I appreciate the care I feel well.” He told her. “Now what is this about the guards telling me that the queen killed our son?”

He looked to her. “It’s alright love.” He told her

“I can do if you want.” She told him.

She smiled softly. "Hey, we can come back if you're busy."

"I made an effort with this, don't you waste it." Seren reprimanded quietly.

Caspian nodded subtly.

"It isn't okay. I - I'm not okay with it."

“No it’s fine come on in.” Hayden smiled

“Considering I’m the one that died I’m fine with it.” He told her

He laughed softly. “Can I not have both?”

She looked to him. “Lead the way?”

Rylee smiled softly, glancing at Max to make sure he was coming too.

"As the one who caused it, I am not! As the one who had to - " She inhaled sharply, moving away from him so she could wipe her face. "I am glad you are fine with it, but I am not."

"Have what I have prepared for you, and then I will update you." Seren whispered

"You don't remember where my room is?"

“Not really.” She admitted. “The one on the left?”

Damian wiped some stray tears that she missed

“Sounds like a good deal.”

"Mm," He mumbled quietly, deflated. "Third one on the right."

"Mm, I am full of those." Seren grinned as she rested the tray in his lap. Sitting down beside him on the bed, tucking her legs beneath herself.

"Can I..?" She questioned quietly, hand moving to fiddle with the bottom of his shirt. Wanting to check the wound.

Reagan giggled. "Now that would be a pretty interesting turn of events, wouldn't it?"

"That it would,"

"Impossible but interesting."

"Mm."

He nodded. “Go for it.”

She nodded and she took his hand headed up there with him.

Max followed happily

"Do you.. do you believe in that sort of thing?"

"How is he?" Rylee asked quietly, smiling softly at the little one.

“He’s alright, just finished bath time.”

"Don't be distracted.. eat your food." Seren encouraged, ducking away from the affection.

Alessia swallowed thickly, slowly coaxing the fabric up to reveal his abdomen.

Caspian silently headed into his room, collapsing onto the bed.

The wound was well healed already nothing more than a scar

Thorin ate as he waited for her to give him the news

She moved to lie on the best beside him

She let out a shaky breath, tracing the scar with her fingers.

Seren leant her head back, watching the ceiling. Waiting until he was done before she even thought of speaking.

Caspian let out a slow breath, closing his eyes.

She rested her head on the pillow watching the ceiling

He watched her occasionally shivering when she caught a sensitive area

Thorin looked to her when he had finished

"Oh good.. we wanted to invite you to come see a movie at the outdoor theater with us and Alice and Frankie tonight."
