Noah lifted his hand and shook his head in response to the offer as he wandered over to the seat and sat himself down. Watching his hands quietly for a few moments before mumbling; "They were Elves, weren't they?"

Kennedy snorted a little bit in disagreement at that but, vocally, remained silent.

Vivian shook her head in the negative, "I have a younger brother; but he's a hotshot who travels around the world for business so I never really get the chance to see him. "What about you; any family?"

Wyatt wrapped an arm around her and buried his face in her hair, closing his eyes with a yawn.

"The reason I came here was for the folklore. It matters; trust me, it really does matter." Noah replied, shaking his head a little bit in the negative. "What is your issue? I really do not understand what I've done wrong."

"Why do you keep on moving?"

"We're never safe... You know we're never safe." Wyatt mumbled quietly. "I dreamt of it... Those dreams you get where you feel it all again. I ache now."

Kennedy frowned deeply at his sigh.

"What gives you the impression that I'll hurt them?" Noah snapped then, narrowing his eyes a little bit at that. "I'm the new neighbour so I instantly get deemed as a threat; is that it?"

Vivian just gave a small nod in understanding. "I'd like it if you stuck around a little bit though, I'd like to get to know you."

"Mm... Yeah... Yeah." Wyatt whispered quietly, tightening his arm around her and repeating softly. "Safe..... Not never really safe; ever."

Kennedy shook her head in the negative.

Noah went entirely silent then, letting out a soft, smug chuckle from his chest. Leaning across on the table and reaching his hand out to rest it on her cheek gently, mouth curling into a charming smirk.

"Come sit by me?" Kennedy asked once again. "Please... I'm cold."

"What makes you think that?"

---

"Mm, I don't know if I'm tired or I need to go to the river." Wyatt hummed.

When he got to her side, Kennedy curled into him like a child and buried her face in his shoulder for the warmth that came with it. Still ice cold to the touch, and of he would of listened closely he would of heard how ragged her breathing was.

"I'd like to get to know you." Vivian repeated.

Wyatt nodded subtly.

Noah didn't say a word, playing with the ends of her hair.

Kennedy relaxed considerably when he didn't push her away, just mumbling a quiet; "Thank you…. Please agree to be my friend, please, I can do this alone anymore."

Vivian smiled brightly at that.

"You can, I dunno..." Wyatt whispered quietly.

He moved his gaze to study her face.

Kennedy just swallowed thickly, closing her eyes before tears could escape and burrowing Uni him a little bit more. "It's so cold…. Always so cold."

"You have a nice laugh too," Vivian mused, passing him some food once it was ready.

"You saw what fell out of those cases, you know really." Noah replied with a small smirk.

Wyatt remained quiet then.

"Oh, I apologise; do you own them?" Noah snorted.

Wyatt just watched the wall opposite him in complete silence.

Kennedy didn't say a word in response to that, shivering against him and swallowing thickly.

"Yeah?"

Kennedy closed her eyes with a small yawn.

Noah rolled his eyes in response to that, "What makes you think I'll hurt them? I don't intend to hurt them."

"Well, I'm not everyone." Noah assured quietly.

Kennedy was just outside of Anders home, having climber halfway up a tree to watch the elves, though her gaze had turned onto Noah, whom had been lingering a little further down the lake. Fiddling with something in his sleeve.

Wyatt had, for once, managed to wander off without his friend. Currently wandering down the street and jumping over the fence into Faylee's garden quietly.
