The Last Of The Fae

"Lots of ways to warm up girly. Warmer clothes, go inside maybe..." Anders rattled off.


Rowen toppled over when she was grabbed and pulled backwards landing on her butt staring up at them all. A shake of her head moving her hair to cover her ears.

"Don't Noah. Seriously just let it go, whatever you're thinking let it go." Faylee warned.

"No... no.. feel." Kennedy whispered, lifting her hand up towards him in offering. Her hand shaking ever so slightly, for no particular reason, she just had a constant tremble.

"Fae. Folklore around here is of Fae... Child-like creatures, wings, spiked ears..."

Wyatt let out a sharp hiss, narrowing his eyes at Noah.

Anders looked to her hand. Jumping down from his tree he landed lightly on his feet holding his hand out slowly.


Rowen whimpered pressing herself against Wyatt's leg hugging it childishly.

"Shh it's okay..." She hummed softly patting Wyatt's hand her eyes fixed on Noah. "Seriously drop it. You don't know what you're talking about."

She rested her hand on top of his, her hands freezing cold to the touch, as if they had been frozen in ice.

"I don't understand what the big deal in all of this is." Noah replied, frowning deeply a little bit and moving his hands up in the surrender position.

He flinched pulling his hand away. "Good gosh girl you're frozen!"


Faylee stared at him blankly before looking at the other two. "Are you alright?"

Rowen didn't answer staring up at Wyatt instead.

"I haven't been around any form of fire in 4 years. It's killing me." Kennedy replied simply. "I have no money, I eat from bins and I sleep on the street. I need a friend, with a house, and a fire to curl up next to... or just someone to share body heat with; or I will die."

Wyatt didn't respond either, eyes wide like a deer trapped in headlights. Staring at Noah.

Noah grimaced, shaking his head before turning and wandering back to his home; muttering incoherent under his breath.

Anders frowned deeply staring at her. "Why are you here?" He asked her simply gesturing for her to follow him before shoving his hand into his pocket.


"We should go home, home Wyatt..." She whimpered tugging on his pant leg gently.

Faylee watched Noah leave without a sound figuring she'd talk with him later. Now though her friends needed her. "Wyatt, Ro?" She whispered reaching a hand out to them.

"This place is known for our kind; well, not my kind, ours generically." She whispered quietly as she wandered after him. "I thought I might be able to find family, heat.... something. Just, something."

"Home." Wyatt agreed quietly, suddenly sounding his actual age, as he did when he was terrified to a certain extent. "Let's go home, come on,"

"For as long as I've been here, they've been here your kind hasn't. I'm not being harsh just honest. None of us here have seen your kind in like forever." He answered truthfully skimming his fingers along the trees and plants as he walked.


Rowen rose to her feet reaching for him and gripping his fingers tightly, the human boy frightening her even more so then the girl in the forest had.

"You don't have to leave, we can go inside if you want..."

Kennedy flinched a little bit in response to that, just giving a small nod as she walked alongside him. Slowly edging as close as she could for the body heat.

"No, I think it's best if we go home." Wyatt whispered, taking Rowan's hand and silently walking off with her.

Anders gave her a sideward glance when she moved closer his hand clenching in his pocket unsure of her movements. He kept walking though towards a small little cottage tucked away in the trees.


She walked away with him her eyes scanning everywhere at once.

Faylee let out a deep sad sigh as she watched them. "I'm sorry..."

Kennedy glanced between him and the cottage multiple times, searching for confirmation that it was his.

Wyatt walked in complete silence as they headed towards the the small house built into the cliff next to the river.

Rather then say anything he walked to the door peering around him first before pushing it open to step inside. "You coming?"


Rowen kept as close to his side as she could.
((Hehe these two are really cute))

Kennedy nodded as she jogged after him.

Entering their home in silence, Wyatt instantly went to the sofa, laying down on his side and curling himself into it.

Anders walked into the small yet cozy little living room and knelt down before a small fire place (the ones that don't use wood) and turned it on. "You can have a set where you want..." He told her gesturing once more with his hand to a couch or arm chair both had a fleece blanket folded up on them.


She followed him inside shutting the door tightly behind her only then to move and sit on the floor at his feet.

Kennedy shook her head and lunged to the fire, almost pressing her face against the safety metal that seperated the fire and them. A violent shudder going through her body as she tried to get even closer to the fire.

Wyatt just let out a small yawn.

With a small shake of his head and a light chuckle Anders moved away and flopped down on the arm chair sideways so his legs were over one of the arm rests and his head resting on the other.


"Sleepy?" She asked softly tilting her head to look at him.
((I'd say these two are like best friends?))

"Mm, very." Wyatt whispered quietly in response to that.

Kennedy closed her eyes as she soaked up the fire, making a noise of content.

((It's cute XD))

Rowen smiled softly at him patting his leg lately. "Rest Wyatt it's safe in here...it's safe."


He watched her for a moment before settling down into his seat resting his head back.

"No where is safe; not really." Wyatt whispered quietly.

Kennedy glanced over her shoulder at him then.

"Yes...yes there is..here is safe, here..." She mumbled quietly in denial with a firm shake of her head.


Anders didn't move or seem to notice only a small humpf coming from him as a small calico kitten leapt up onto his stomach and laid down.

((Hehe figured he needed a pet or well many probably since he's so in tune with nature. ))

Wyatt didn't reply then, having fallen fast asleep.

Kennedy just watched him quietly.

She sighed softly getting to her feet to get a light blanket setting it over him before sitting herself back down on the floor and grabbing one of her books off the table near her.


Anders lightly stroked the cat on his lap eventually shifting his gaze to Kennedy.

"So... Can you; tell me about you?" Kennedy asked, a lot more calmer now she was around fire. Seeming a lot less malicious.

Wyatt slept peacefully, breathing soft.

"Possibly. What is it you want to know?"


Rowen actually dozed off sitting on the floor her head resting on the cushion behind her, book fallen to the floor.
