"Stop wasting time arguing with me Altair, look at you! Get into the car. We can't go after him if you're dead."

Sienna pushed the car door open a little wider, "What have I done to show you that you can't? Come on, Mason. I'm trying to keep you alive here. Trust me, for Logan..."

"Got it," Sienna whispered, driving off as soon as he got in. Foot pressing down onto the pedal so they were going as quickly as they safely could, slightly over the limit. "They don't mean to jump to violence, they're just scared and when my family got scared they need to find control, in anyway they can. People do that."

Ronan led him out to the car, keeping a hold of him to try and support his weight. "Stem your own bleeding, remember to do that..."

Sienna took a deep breath as she drove, quiet for a few moments before whispering; "I meant what I said... I- I really do think you're him."

"A pain in the ass child." He muttered, pulling the car door open for him.

"It should make a difference. If you are... I loved you, I loved you so much; I still do. The - the grave, I always go, fresh flowers. Your birthday.. I do something for it every year. I - it's undescribable." Sienna whispered, swallowing thickly. "You... you'll shoot me. Present.. present tense, not you would of - so your planning to?"

"Oh shut up. Your even more annoying when injured." He snorted, walking around to the other side of the car and getting in.

Sienna swallowed thickly, "Not.. not particularly, no."

"She'd much rather you lived, Altair. People are easy to track back down, you can't bring people back from the dead though."

"Antione's mom was killed in front of him by someone he thought he could trust. He had grandparents, but they gave him a fake address, we never found them. That broach was the last he has of his mom, he's... sensitive about it. He and Logan had kids argument, nothing - nothing worth people dying over." Sienna whispered. "Not my cousin, not my brother. Not anyone... including you. I didn't do anything, I came over seconds before you. I am trying to help you, Mason."

"Too well." Ronan whispered as he drove.

"Take my phone. Look up my social media, click on album called uh... what did I name; Summers like these or something stupid. Look through it, you'll see a few of me with my grandfather whilst I was pregnant. Let's see if the man you know and the man I know are the same man."

"Please... I need to know. I need to know." Sienna whispered. "If you plan on killing me, it doesn't matter to you if I know or not, right?"

"I'm helping you." She repeated, voice shaking slightly then. "I know people through work, I can help you disappear. You'll be safe. We aren't far enough away yet for you to be safe."

"I am helping you. Think about self-preservation here, Mason." Sienna encouraged. "You trusted me enough to get in the car, deep down you know I am no threat."

Sienna flinched in the anticipation of it all, the car swerving for a moment before she regained control. Slowly reaching a hand out to the side and patting his knee, "It's okay. It - it's okay. You're safe, I promise...  I promise. Safe from me at least. Everything else is really scary, I know. We're both taking risks right now, okay? Now they know I am helping you, I'll be on their hit list too."

Sienna pulled over, keeping the doors locked but turning so she could look st him properly. "Please... help me understand."
