Sienna frowned, looking away then and connecting her iPod to the stereo - placing it on his lap so he could choose some music.

((Anyone else?))
Mason scooted away from her, leaning against the window.

(( Whoever you like ))
Sienna sighed, leaning her head against the window and staring out quietly then. "I know, I'm scared too."

(( I dunno either He is yours so you decide, tragic for him and Sienna or he could start to open up. Your choice entirely. ))

(( Tragedy - skip even a few hours. Security can be sent out for Mason to shoot him, Sienna protects him and then both end up shot? Happy - Again, skip... They end up locked away somewhere remote for awhile and then Sienna could make contact with everyone? ))

Re: The Age of The Masrui
((I am undecided as of yet :joy: throw stuff up for whenever you want for now!))
Three weeks later…
Wren lay staring at the ceiling. She’d been taken off the machines helping her breathe around a week ago, though hadn’t woken up before now. She tried to open her mouth to speak once she’d come round, though her throat was still sore and dry so she was unable to make anything but the faintest of raspy noises. Still incredibly weak, and unable to sit up she’d laid there for around ten minutes in silence as she came to. Eventually letting out an exhale of frustration through her nose, she mustered enough strength to lift her hand up a few inches from the bed and smack it back down loudly to jolt awake her sleeping father.
“Sorry for the early intrusion, Mr King, but I thought you’d want the news as soon as we got it. She’s clear, Mr King.” The doctor grinned as she walked into Mila’s room. Mila was tucked into her bed with extra blankets, going on for nearly a full day asleep after a huge treatment and testing session. A wrap around her head, her hair having gone the previous week. The doctor seemed unsurprised at finding Cain awake, her cheeks red as if she’d run up to give them the news. “The same as last time, sir - she’ll feel unwell for a time but the cancer is no longer present. She’s free of the disease!”
Theo exhaled shakily as he gripped the couch in his mother’s home to sit down, having only just been released from the hospital an hour or so earlier. An infection having set in before he was due to come home, meaning he’d had to stay in for further treatment.

Re: The Age of The Masrui
(( Okay, well I am exhausted so going to grab some sleep but I'll post tomorrow - hopefully a bit better than I have been tonight but no one in the house had work expect me so me sat on my phone is anti-social whilst they are full of energy. You know how it goes ))
"That's it, take it easy." Marlowe encouraged softly as she sat beside her son. "You've come so far, a little ways to go yet though, Teddy. So close to the finish line though, I'm proud of you."
"I- great. Good... thank you." Cain hummed tiredly, off a warm smile though it seemed false - exhausted by the past few weeks and knowing how likely it was that it would come back so being visibly under-confident compared to the previous time.
Louis jumped up at the movement, up right straight away with a small noise of surprise as he looked around to try and spot who had woken him in an almost panic.

“My back is still in pieces with the little twerp hitting a nerve.” Theo groaned as he pulled his legs up, leaning his head back with a sigh.
“Sir… we have the pill on the premises… if you want to prevent this happening again. You have it within your power to do so.” The doctor said quietly as she headed over and checked Mila’s notes. “Because I cannot tell you this won’t happen again.”
Wren moved her hand again, reaching out for his own.
“You’ve seen the colour of my hair right! Oh yeah ‘Erin you won’t die if you don’t wear every ounce of protective equipment’ but he forgot to mention that I would fucking crisp up!” Erin faux-raged, waving her arms around as she leaned over Robbie’s bar with a drink in hand toward the end of their shift. She was exaggerating her burn, her skin only being ever so slightly tinted pink, though dark freckles has come out in full force after spending the day at the beach with Charlie before they’d returned back so he could work a shift.
“I mean… I’m with Charlie on this one, you’d think after like two decades of being as white as sheet paper you’d learn that you need sun cream even in winter.” Robbie chuckled, reaching over and ever so briefly brushing his thumb against Elliots hand, slowly learning the smaller, more subtle touches were what Elliot could bare in public. “I think your sister needs treating like those kids that refuse sunscreen in future mm? Just slopping with it.”
((So weird, every time I tried to post last night after your last message it kept coming up with a technical error message in red above the post, only just been able to do it this morning))

Re: The Age of The Masrui
"Are you still rattling on there?" Charlie chuckled as he returned from the cellar, carrying three packs of multiple mixers. "It is almost like I didn't take you out on the best date ever today, again might I add. Your fucking spoiled with me."
"You're so cocky." Elliot laughed quietly. "We never got out much as kids, how are we meant to know how badly the sun burns us and you can buy stuff to prevent it? We never had the money to think about things like that."
"Wren? Wren... oh.... oh my god." Louis whispered, eyes widening as he got to his feet and leant over. Taking one of her hands in his and using his other to smooth her hair back and kiss her forehead. "Hi, hi you."
"Noted...."
Marlowe wrapped an arm around and pulled him against her gently. "He and Sienna are both untraceable at the minute too. I can't believe she has done this, especially since he hurt you too. I never thought she'd run."
"Can't go anywhere anymore. I think we should get you one of those alarms that you press when you fall over." Reid laughed as he put a bag of food down on Altair's hospital bedside. "Your old man - ness is showing with all of these injuries."

Re: The Age of The Masrui
“I apologise for getting stabbed in a vital organ by a homicidal maniac, I don’t see you rushing to offer a kidney.” Altair bit, sighing deeply. “Has there been any news?”
“Of course she ran, it’s Sienna. She doesn’t fucking care about anyone but herself and how she feels. She’s dead to me. She can go to hell.” Theo snarled, instantly riled up at the mention of his sisters name.
“Yeah yeah yeah, you say it like you’ve not had dinner on the table when you’ve come home like three times this last week.” Erin rolled her eyes playfully.
“You’ve made dinner for everyone, don’t make out like you specially went out of your way to cook a romantic meal for Charlie.” Robbie laughed quietly. “We’ve been out several times and you’ve known to use sunscreen. I definitely snagged myself the more intelligent sibling.” He grinned.
“All this spoiling and yet I'm still technically a single woman, clearly doesn’t like me well enough.” Erin hummed.
Wren opened her mouth to speak, though the noise that came out was raspy and garbled. Sighing softly and just settling for squeezing his hand back and flashing a small smile.
“We’d like her to remain here for another day or so, just till the sickness and other side effects of the drugs wears off. But then we’re happy for her to be discharged. I’ll leave you to deliver the good news.” The doctor smiled before heading out of the room.

"Ah, my kidney isn't compatible unfortunately." Reid chuckled, stretching his arm out wide so that he could see a small cotton bud taped to his under arm to stop bleeding. "See.. I did get blood tested."
Marlowe rested her chin on top of his head, whispering softly, "I know. I know, and that is fair enough Theo. That is... you are perfectly in your right to feel that way."
"I reiarate what Robbie said, those meals have for everyone. You have done nothing romantic for me, when am I going to get my sentimental surprise?" Charlie chuckled. "Perhaps it's you who doesn't like me enough to take away the single label."
Elliot just shook his head at them as he watched.
"I need to get your mother, and a - and a doctor." He whispered, leaning back from the hug then. Reaching over and pressing in the button beside the bed.
Cain watched them go quietly.

Re: The Age of The Masrui
“I - no. I - “ Erin flushed then. “What do you want me to do for you? What would make you happy? I - I’m behind on the whole dating game it seems…”
Wren whined when he pulled away, panicking that he was leaving her. “No.” She managed to rasp out forcefully.
Mila yawned a few moments later as she came round, instantly opening her eyes and rolling over to check for Cain after not feeling him next to her.
“Sure your tune won’t change when they eventually find her and she tries talking about all the brainwashing crap?”
“Mm. Thank you for trying I suppose. It seems nobody is a match.” Altair sighed deeply. “How’s my daughter? My grandchildren?”

"I'm here," He soothed softly, returning his hand to squeeze hers tightly. "Right here, I'm not going anywhere Wren. Don't worry."
"There are still a couple of people to have tests, don't panic just yet." Reid answered, offering him a hopeful smile. "I am still in favour of us getting you one of those elderly panic alarms though. Everyone is doing okay, just worried about you."
"No. It won't. You are allowed to be hurt, you could of died and now she has gone off somewhere... you get to hate her. It isn't very good behaviour, is it?"
"If I tell you what I want it'd take it away," Charlie shrugged as he finished stocking the fridges. "Forget it, it doesn't matter, okay? I was just playing anyway."

Re: The Age of The Masrui
“You’re skating on thin ice Reid. You’re the one with the actual panic button in every room in your own home. I am fine.” Altair muttered, clearly pissed by his situation.
“W-What?” Wren asked as she gestured to herself, looking round before reaching toward the coffee cup she saw on the side for a drink.
Erin frowned deeply, grabbing her brothers hand and murmuring something about wanting to dance with her brother before pulling him off to the side. “I’ve fucked up haven’t i? What do I do? How do I fix it? I - I don’t know how to be romantic!”
“She’s a cow. Dead to me.” Theo reiterated.

"For safety - including the safety of your daughter and grandchildren. You should just being seeing the benefits of panic buttons, not getting all arsey with me." Reid frowned.
"You've dug yourself a hole, yeah." Elliot laughed quietly in amusement. "You know him- what does he like? Or... I don't know.. Google it? What do they do in movies? If its romance he wants then it can't be too hard, surely?"
"Three bullet wounds, in your stomach. You - We weren't sure you were going to ever wake up this time. The doctors were elusive."
"Lets.. not waste anymore of your energy on her. Do you need anything; a drink, a snack? I could put a documentary on for us."

“We need to talk… now I’m out… I didn’t want to talk about it whilst I was in hospital but it’s not going away…”
“I’m not some invalid like everyone thinks I am! I can take care of myself and this family!”
Wren was quiet as she took a sip from the cup she got, making a face at the taste before taking another drink. “Who shot me? Why? I… last thing I remember is being at Tesni’s for cuddles with Ezra just after she got home from the hospital.”
“What do you do for Robbie? What's romantic and shit?”

Re: The Age of The Masrui
"It was the after party of the wedding, Logan and Antione got into a row and Mason lost it; starting... shooting aimlessly at people. Screeching about how he hates people like us. He has done a runner now, we had him but he stabbed Altair and Ronan had to focus on getting him here rather than go after him."
"Oh?" Marlowe frowned. "That sounds... serious. What's going on, Teddy?"
"Why are you yelling, Altair?" Reid sighed. "Come on now."
"I uh..." Elliot grimaced, shrugging.

“What’s the male equivalent of getting someone flowers? Or… something like that! Come on El, help me out here.”
“She’s pregnant… it’s why she’s not here now, why she only visited a few more times… I…” Theo flushed, embarrassed. “I was overwhelmed… it was too much for me to think about… she’s giving me space.”
“Okay… wow.” Wren rasped. “I don’t remember the wedding…” she added sadly. “Is everyone else okay? Tesni? Cainy? Logan?”
“Because I know what you’re all thinking about me and it’s sickening!”
