"Bedroom it is then, but you'll have to carry me.' She smirked against his lips.

"Come on," Tesni whispered,, pulling the passengers side do open on her return to the car. "We're home."

Darya laughed, leaning her head down to kiss down his neck, keeping the kiss delicate ,- her lips barely grazing his skin.

She lifted her hand up to brush her fingers through his hair affectionately. "Come on, let's go inside. I can hold you properly in bed, as opposed to in a car."

I'm taking Sam to see my family in L.A until Archer is out of hospital. I'm just going to pack some things for him and then I'll be there to collect him. Scarlett text Celeste, though paused in the doorway to hiss over her shoulder at Archer; "Why not? You're having a go at me for being scared. It isn't right, and there is no point us bothering your family with childcare if I am not here with you. My family need to see Sam too."

Tesni quietly guides him into the house, and up the stairs. Kicking her shoes off and settling down on the bed, offering her arms out to him.

You were mean to me when you nearly died last time too!" She hissed shakily. "I want to fucking hug you but your being mean to me for being scared and worried for you!"

Tesni secured one arm around him, pulling the covers up around them before wrapping her other arm around him too. Leaning her head against his and closing her eyes, assuring softly, "I'm right here to help you put the pieces back together if you need to break. I love you."

Scarlett shook her head, frozen in place as she stared at him with a wounded expression. Silent tears escaping her eyes once again.

"No one to call when things get a little too much and you need advice outside of the family. With the kids, or with.. whatever else might be happening." Tesni agreed, swallowing thickly.

"Fine..." She mumbled, heading out of the room and going to the car. Knuckles knocking gently on Celeste's door about twenty minutes later, cheeks flushed from tears.

"Just here to pick my son up, you've done enough baby sitting a- and my dad hasn't had much time with him yet, or my sister so... we're going to go there until Ary is better." Scarlett explained quickly, voice trembling as she reached her hands out for Sam. "Sam needs his mom, and his mom needs her dad so... a quick plane flight it is."

"No... no we didn't." Tesni whispered. "We uh.. we won't make mistakes like that again."

“I don’t want my son marrying a woman who runs from him whilst he’s laying sick in a hospital bed because they’ve had an argument. And I’ll be telling him that. I held up my end of the deal we made on the phone - but you’ve not looked after my son the way I have yours. Clearly you’re not mature enough to be marrying anyone If you run away at the first sign of a fight.” Celeste said firmly as she handed over Sam’s bag, though not unkindly, just as a matter of fact. “In sickness and in health.”

Tobias nodded sadly, letting out a shaky exhale.
