Creatures of the Dark

Aeron chuckled, sweeping her up off of her feet to kiss her deeply.

She kissed him back just as deeply immediately moving a hand into his hair. When the kiss broke she had a small smile on her lips. “No I think I’m going to have to do that again.” She told him playfully before she kissed him again, deeply

He chuckled, stepping backwards until he could safely fall back onto the sofa, hands moving up to rest against her braids.

She gave a startled laugh when she suddenly felt them falling and her hand tightened in his hair before she nestled on his lap to keep her lips against his.

Aeron pulled away, breathless. Touching his forehead to hers, "Let me cook dinner tonight, please? You done thr shopping, you need to relax now."

She was also breathless and she looked to him. “How about we do it together?” She counter offered. “We used to love doing that together and we haven’t done it together for so long.” She told him as she played with the chain around his neck, this was something she normally did

"Only if we get to listen to my music, if I hear one more heavy metal song I think I may bleed from my ears." He hummed, catching her hand and interlinking his fingers with hers.

She linked her fingers with her as she pretendedto think about it. “Okay but no classical.” She told him with a smile her emerald eyes shining with excitement and teasing

"You do not appreciate Ludwig van Beethoven or Mozart with the amount of admiration you should." He tutted. "I wish I could play more than three blind mice on piano, to even try and be close to their level of genius."

She smiled softly. “I did offer to. Give you lessons remember.”

"And let you see how little music was in my life as a child? No." He scoffed. "I want to teach myself."

She nodded. “Alright.” She told him as she pressed a gently kiss to his lips

"We should invite your parents over for dinner tomorrow. It was their anniversary last week, wasn't it?"

“It was.” She agreed. “That’s a good idea, they haven’t see Bael in at least a year with all of this travelling by they are doing.”

"Living their best life," He chuckled, smoothing a strand of heart back off of her face. "We can't blame them, I suppose."

She smiled softly leaning into his touch. “True just wish they would have invited Bael, he would have loved going to the Maldives.” She sighed softly. “But his school work is important.”

"If it were just the school breaks then it would have been possible, but..." He shook his head.

“I know, I wonder where they are going in the half term.” She thought out loud. “I mean that should be okay.”

"If it is only a few days away, anything too long and we have to go too."

“We will have to wait and see now coke on, we are going to have an angry ten year old on our hands if we don’t feed him soon.” She told him as she moved to get up off of him

"I think I would rather face the devil then an angry child." He jested quietly.

She laughed softly. “Well then, quesadillas it is then.”

"Quesadillas and loaded nachos," He hummed his agreement.

“Sounds like a Mexican dream.” She told him with a laugh before she offered him her hand to stand up

He took her hand as he stood with her.
